Ashley Darby
Ashley Darby (born April 14 1988) is an American performer and actress. Her fame was boosted after she won Miss District of Columbia in 2011 and has been the main character on The Real Housewives of Potomac since the show's inception beginning in January of the year 2016. Ashley Darby, an entrepreneur and philanthropist, with a love for holistic health and hospitality is a passionate businessperson. Ashley comes from Maryland and is a strong personality, was infused by her parents with the determination to be successful. The oldest child in her family, Ashley has had to manage multiple jobs to help support her mother who was a single parent and the younger siblings. She was a student at the University of Maryland at age 18 and worked as bartender for her as well as her family. Ashley began bartending while she was at her first Miss District of Columbia Pageant. In the year 2011, Ashley won the Miss District of Columbia Pageant crown. Ashley soon met Michael Darby a 29-years older Australian millionaire real estate agent. Ashley discovered an entire world she'd never known existed. Ashley and Michael were married and became their proud grandparents of Dean Michael in 2019 and Dylan Matthew in 2021. After eight years of marriage, they finally divorced in 2022. Ashley has been certified to teach yoga. She believes that peace within is important, but so is outer physicality. Ashley has been having a blast in life, has worked hard to attain the perfect balance between loving her family as well as motherhood. Ashley is, in terms of her profession is concerned she's a television presenter. In the beginning she worked as bartender since her family was in need of cash. She has always had a passion for fashion and entertainment. Then she took part in the pageant with wholehearted determination. She was awarded both the Miss District of Columbia title in 2011 as well. Then she participated as Miss America in Miss America pageant but even although she did not win the title, she was able to get a scholarship. She was awarded a scholarship worth $5000, and was also awarded the John Curran Non-Finalist Interview Award.
